Have you a ukulele or banjulele and would like to meet some other players? --- then --- welcome to the musical world of KUBAS (Pronounced QBAS).

KUBAS was formed in August 2015 and the first meeting was 14th September 2015 to promote "Strumming for Smiles".

It is a fun and friendly ukulele club in Pembury, Kent (near Tunbridge Wells) that brings like-minded people together with an interest in ukuleles, banjuleles and music.

The valued "Kubasian" members consist of all ages and abilities including “beginners” – “intermediates” – “professionals”.

The members enjoy a great relaxing night out playing and singing songs.

Strum a few chords or play them all, the choice is yours!

KUBAS plays a variety of songs from all eras from the 1920's to modern.

There are over 300 exciting songs compiled by the members.

These are in a clear, simple readable format with chord charts included and can be easily downloaded in a consolidated songbook from "here" or the menu above.

The songs played at each meeting are chosen by the members. There is an accompanying bass guitar and also sometimes a snare drum that adds to the songs.

KUBAS prides itself to be driven by the members to ensure everyone is entitled to a say in what they would like from the society.
